THE RUSTIC BEAUTY OF 3 COTTAGES PROVIDES ACCOMMODATION
All cottages at Van der Waltshoek have private en-suite bathrooms and share a fully-equipped communal kitchen, an outdoor seating area, stone fire pits for barbecues, and a pizza oven. Three of the four rooms overlook the Karoo mountains and mystical dam

The Waenhuis (built-in 1870) was initially used as horse stables. A little while later, the stables were extended to make room for the storage of horse carriages. The waenhuis is our large dorm, where you will find 4-6 single beds with a bathroom equipped with a bathtub and shower. The Waenhuis has a communal area with a fully equipped kitchen, including a refrigerator, deep freeze, stove, microwave, oven, kettle, and other necessities. It runs through to a dining room and living area with couches. Outside on the stoep, a shaded table overlooks the dam and can be used for lunch, evening meals, and social gatherings.
